Gold Leaf Winner 2005 ASPAN Component of the Year! Welcome to MASPAN! (Massachusetts Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses) We are the state component to the American Society for PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). MASPAN’s mission is to advance nursing practice through education, research, and the promotion of ASPAN’s standards. MASPAN is a volunteer organization committed to serving the perianesthesia nurse. The Board of Directors meets six times a year and all meetings are open to the membership.
